The Whitpain Walkers is a weekly walking club that meets at various walking trails in the area. This program is ideal for individuals who want to walk with others, begin and/or continue a walking routine, discover great walking trails nearby, or are just looking for something new to do during the day! The walking club is a non-competitive group that encourages healthy lifestyles, exercise, being in nature, and socializing with others. Whitpain Walkers will meet Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30am. Come when you can!This program is for adults 18+ and open to all levels and abilities. Leashed (friendly!) dogs permitted on most walks, unless otherwise stated.An email is sent to registered participants Monday or Tuesday each week detailing the exact meeting location for that particular week. Please make sure you "opt-in" to receive general email announcements from the parks and rec department.
 
5:00 PM - 6:30 PM    i9 Basketball - i9 Basketball
This camp will focus on learning new skills, games, strategies, and good sportsmanship. Campers will participate in a variety of fun games and activities which will help them develop the fundamentals of the game of basketball!  All campers will receive an i9 Sports participation shirt during the first session, snacks, and trophies will be given out on the last day of camp during our end of week celebration!

Register below for the 3 one-hour lessons. Pay online, and schedule with instructor directly. Instructor Bio:Liz Baldasano is PTR Certified Professional in Adult and Junior (10 & Under/11-17) Development, and Junior Performance (10-16). She is a lifelong tennis enthusiast and an active recreational doubles player.Liz is in her 11th season conducting tennis workshops at Wentz Run Park. She is a Tennis Professional with the PennSuburban Community Tennis Association (PSCTA) and head instructor for the PSCTA Junior Team Tennis (JTT) Training Program.
