This program is open to all levels, including beginners. The practice of yoga has several benefits to overall health. Through mindfulness training, breath, and posture, students are able to improve their quality of life. Yoga relieves stress and promotes a deeper relaxation while still providing physical exercise. Yoga also promotes balance, flexibility, strength, circulation, and immune response.

Yin Yoga Series
Yin Yoga is a complement to the more recognizable Yan or Yang practice.
While the Yan/Yang practice addresses the elastic tissues of the muscles, Yin takes a deeper dive into the inelastic tissues of the fascia, tendons, ligaments and bones.
Yin embraces the concept of freeing up the energy channels, also known as meridians.
The practice accomplishes this through longer, passive, supported holds which allow the muscle tissue to relax and therefore not engaging the inelastic tissue. Also, the relaxation response allows for the meridians to clear, providing free flow of energy through the channels.

Kundalini Yoga Workshop
Kundalini yoga is the “yoga of awareness”. It empowers the practitioner through mantra, kriya and meditation.
Typically, Kundalini yoga begins with two mantras, one to tap into inner wisdom and one for protection. The kriya is a set of exercises to tap into the kundalini energy coiled at the base of the spine. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of kriyas provided in Kundalini yoga. For this workshop the kriya in entitled Kriya for Opportunity and Green Energy. (Green energy is heart energy). Savasana and meditation follow the kriya.
You are invited to expand your yoga practice through the practice of Kundalini yoga.
