Home is where the seeds of literacy are planted. It is an environment that encourages children to learn to read and write. Transforming your home into a literate home simply requires an understanding of early literacy research and a commitment to providing rich literacy opportunities. In this course, parents, grandparents, and caregivers will learn proven tips for fostering reading enjoyment and future reading success for children ages 0-10.
