This certification course provides teens with the confidence and skills to care for youngsters. Prospective employers will be happy to hire babysitters who have acquired this official recognition.
You will also learn basic first aid and have an introduction to CPR. We will discuss etiquette for being home alone, while caring for youngsters. We will discuss professionalism, safety, age-appropriate activities, basic care, and first aid. Upon completion of the course, you will receive an ARC Certification Card. You must attend the entire course, pass the evaluations, and show the maturity to properly care for children. Please bring a lunch, pencil and snack.
Masks must be worn during the program and participant temperatures will be taken prior to entry. A mask will also be worn by the instructor and social distancing will be in place. Maximum of 16 participants per class.
